Networks and Newsletters

We offer several ways to receive the latest news on Sirens. Please choose one or more that suits you, and follow the instructions. If you have questions or concerns about using these tools, please e-mail us at (web at sirensconference.org).

LiveJournal

Our most frequently updated news source is our Sirens LiveJournal. [lj-info]sirenscon includes regular news, as well as information for attendees and additional special features. Anyone may read [lj-info]sirenscon and comment anonymously on its posts. Only our staff will post to this LiveJournal, but we maintain a second LiveJournal, [lj-info]sirenschat, which anyone may use to connect with other Sirens attendees. Please click to watch [lj-info]sirenscon on your LiveJournal friends list.

If you don't use LiveJournal, you can join here or use your preferred newsreader to subscribe to the [lj-info]sirenscon RSS feed. (Please click here to learn about RSS.)

Message Boards

Our conference message boards include an announcements area, where all major announcements will be posted. In addition, we invite you to use our message boards to meet other attendees, discuss women in fantasy literature, and ask conference questions.

Twitter

We have a conference Twitter, which is intended primarily for use during the conference, but which may have occasional pre-site news as well.

Facebook

We maintain a Facebook page about Sirens for those who prefer that format. The updates we include on Facebook won't be as frequent or include as much information as those on the [lj-info]sirenscon LiveJournal, but we will release all major news items on this site. We no longer update our MySpace.

Mailing List

If you subscribe to our mailing list, you will receive our major news updates right in your e-mail inbox. This news will be repeated elsewhere, including on our LiveJournal and our Facebook, but if you'd prefer to receive occasional updates by e-mail, we invite you to sign up for our mailing list.

Please note that some of these sources may require that you agree to their terms of service, in addition to Narrate's terms of service, in order to use them.
