August 10, 2010:   Schedule page was updated with the programming schedules (available as images and as PDF files).
July 15, 2010:   Activities page was updated with information about A Star Shall Fall Launch Party, which will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9. The launch party will feature a faery drink, a faery costume contest, and the opportunity to chat with Marie about her amazing work.
June 2, 2010:   Accepted Programming page was updated with information regarding the programming that will be offered on October 8 and 9, 2010. Please be aware that this is only a partial list of the programming that will be offered at the conference. As accepted presenters confirm their conference participation by registering, their presentations will be added to this list.
May 18, 2010:   The submissions system for programming proposals was closed for 2010.
May 6, 2010:   The deadline for programming proposals was extended to May 10, 2010.
May 1, 2010:   Registration price increased to $180.
April 14, 2010:   The Reading List was updated to use referral links to Tattered Cover, an independent Denver bookseller.
November 1, 2009:   2010 Sirens information announced, including guests of honor, registration and hotel reservations.
September 2, 2009:   Sirens online registration closed on September 1 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern. Attendees may no longer add tickets to their registrations. However, if you would like to pay your balance, please use the Change My Registration option.
August 10, 2009:   Schedule page was updated with the programming schedules (available as images and as PDF files). Donors page was added; it listed individuals and organizations that have already supported Sirens through donations.
July 1, 2009:  

Sirens Shuttle Between Denver International Airport and Vail—Now Available
A conference-sponsored shuttle will depart from Denver at 3:30 p.m. on October 1 and leave the Vail Cascade at 10:30 a.m. on October 4, which will accommodate flights arriving by 2:00 p.m. on October 1 or departing after 3:00 p.m. on October 4.

As of today, tickets are available to new registrants as well as to those who are already registered. (If you're already registered, please use the Change My Registration page to purchase a ticket.) Those holding a registration may also purchase additional tickets for friends and family to ride along. A round-trip ticket costs $95, which is about half the cost of using a scheduled-service commercial shuttle—and saves you the cost of gas and parking at the Vail Cascade Resort and Spa.

Sirens Supper
If you'll be in Vail ahead of time, please feel free to join us for our staff dinner on Wednesday, September 30. Starting at 7:00 p.m., this Colorado-style western buffet costs $60, which includes food, non-alcoholic drinks, and gratuity.

June 2, 2009:   Accepted Presentations page was added with information regarding the presentations that will be featured as part of our schedule for October 1-4, 2009. Presentations will be added to this list as presenters confirm their participation and our web team prepares the presentation information.
May 1, 2009:   Registration price increased to $175.
April 13, 2009:   The deadline for programming proposals has been extended to June 7, 2009.
January 28, 2009:   Sirens is please to announce that authors Kristin Cashore, Tamora Pierce, and Sherwood Smith will be the guests of honor for the inaugural year of Sirens. They are all outstanding authors of fantasy works, and we're thrilled to have them be part of the conference. Each author will present her work and a keynote presentation during the weekend; all of these presentations, including the two luncheons and dessert reception that accompany the keynotes, are included with all Sirens registrations.
November 21, 2008:   The Sirens online submission system for Programming Submissions opened.
November 1, 2008:   Conference registrations and hotel reservations are now available.
October 25, 2008:   Website opened.
