The Vail Cascade Resort and Spa, a AAA Four-Diamond hotel in Vail, Colorado, is the official location of Sirens. The resort features incredibly luxurious rooms and an acclaimed spa and fitness center. Internet access is included in your resort fee, and we think you'll appreciate the welcoming community spaces, friendly staff, and gorgeous alpine views.

While attendees are not required to stay at the Vail Cascade, we encourage you to do so. The resort has reserved a block of hotel rooms at a very low rate for Sirens attendees. By staying at our official hotel, you help us meet our financial obligations to the resort so that we can keep the cost of attending Sirens as low as possible.

Sirens attendees are welcome to stay at the Vail Cascade for a rate of $119 per night for single/double occupancy, and $139 a night for triple/quad occupancy. This rate is good starting the night of October 4, 2010, and lasts until the night of October 12, 2010. Deluxe rooms and suites will be available at a higher (but still discounted) rate. Room rates are subject to tax, which is currently at 9.8%, and a $10 resort fee, which includes access to an extensive, multi-level fitness center, a complimentary hotel shuttle to nearby Lionshead and Vail Village, local and toll-free telephone calls, and wired in-room high speed Internet access, among other amenities. Valet and self-parking is available for a separate daily fee, which varies seasonally.

Main lodge rooms feature such comforts as pillow-topped mattresses and overstuffed pillows, cotton bathrobes, bath products from the resort's spa, in-room coffee and tea, hair dryers, a mini-refrigerator, ample storage space, an in-room safe, a humidifier, and daily newspaper delivery. The front desk clerks and concierge are available around the clock. Several dining options, casual and high-end, are available on site, and many more restaurants and bars are a short walk or shuttle ride away. Resort staff can help you arrange child care if needed.

Reservations

Because the Vail Cascade is a mountain resort, its reservation and guarantee policies are slightly different from most hotels. Please read the following carefully before making your reservation:

• All reservations for the Vail Cascade must be made no later than September 16, 2010.
• At the time you make your reservation, you must provide either one night's payment or a valid credit card guarantee.
• On September 17, 2010, all reservations must have paid for at least one night. If you provided a credit card guarantee, your credit card will be charged for one night on September 17, 2010.
• If you wish to cancel your reservation, you must do so by September 16, 2010. If you do not, you will be charged for your entire stay.
• After September 16, 2010, you may reserve a new room or alter your reservation only with the permission of the Vail Cascade.
